Shareholder Benefits Programme FAQs

How can I join the Shareholder Benefits Programme?

If you would like to take part in the Shareholder Benefits Programme, you need to be an active member of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society and to hold at least 1,000 shares in the Artisanal Spirits Company plc which are held through the Artisanal Spirits Company plc’s Corporate Sponsored Nominee account (the “CSN”), which is operated by the Company’s registrar, Link.

For more information on how to transfer shares into the CSN please email Link at custodymgt@linkgroup.co.uk

When and how can I use the 50% shareholder discount on my membership renewal?

The renewal benefit kicks in on your renewal date.

When and how can I buy shareholder special releases and what are they?

Now that we have a view of how many people are taking part in the Shareholder Benefits Programme for the first year we are starting to plan special editions and special releases for our Shareholder Benefits Programme. You can be sure that we are seeking out delicious flavours and intriguing whiskies for you to enjoy.

Why do shares need to be held in the CSN?

To ensure that we can verify that the benefits are solely available for members of the SMWS and that the holdings can be cross checked against our database.
